Brew Your Ritual

Simple methods to help you get the most out of your coffee — and turn your daily routine into something more intentional.

Great coffee doesn’t need to be complicated.

A few small details can make a big difference — from grind size to brew time. Use these simple guides to create a cup that fits your taste and your daily ritual.

Pour Over

Grind: Medium Ratio: 1:16 Time: 2.5–3 minutes
  1. Heat water just below boiling.
  2. Add ground coffee to filter.
  3. Pour a small amount of water and bloom for 30 seconds.
  4. Slowly pour remaining water in circles.
  5. Let it drip and enjoy.

Tip: For a cleaner, brighter cup, pour slowly and evenly.

French Press

Grind: Coarse Ratio: 1:15 Time: 4 minutes
  1. Add coarse ground coffee to the French press.
  2. Pour hot water over the grounds.
  3. Stir gently and place the lid on top.
  4. Let it steep for 4 minutes.
  5. Press slowly and pour immediately.

Tip: For a full-bodied, rich cup, use a coarse grind and avoid over-steeping.

Espresso

Grind: Fine Ratio: 1:2 Time: 25–30 seconds
  1. Use finely ground coffee.
  2. Add coffee to the portafilter.
  3. Tamp evenly with firm pressure.
  4. Lock in the portafilter and start extraction.
  5. Stop once the shot reaches 25–30 seconds.

Tip: For a strong, concentrated cup, keep your grind fine and your tamp even.

Cold Brew

Grind: Coarse Ratio: 1:8 Time: 12–18 hours
  1. Add coarse ground coffee to a jar or cold brew maker.
  2. Pour cold filtered water over the coffee.
  3. Stir gently to fully saturate the grounds.
  4. Cover and steep in the fridge for 12–18 hours.
  5. Strain and serve over ice.

Tip: For a smooth, low-acidity cup, steep slowly and dilute to taste.
